Well if its for "studying" Flepp then the 7900GS will come in handy ;)

Sounds nice :) , I will have to start thinking of a new desktop build soon.

Yeah, those graphs in SPSS will turn out very nicely when I get it in ;)

Thanks, could've made it muuuuuch more expensive, but you've got to stop somewehere and I set the cut off at €1000,- including XP SP2.
It's amazing how much progress was made since I bought my last desktop (which had an Athlon64 3000+, it was one of the first with that cpu) and also how much cheaper everything has gotten!
I seriously thought I'd end up with an medium-end system, this one is pretty high-end (especially when that E6400 clocks good ;))

Very nice rig fleppen....I'm jealous now, especially as you just described my beloved 64 3000 as your discarded issue!

<sigh>... I know what to ask santa for now!

    Regards....

    Hehe, thanks man.

Actually, the 64 3000 has gone to my parents / little brother and is basically a blazingly fast Internet/Word/Sudoku computer.
My brother uses his laptop to game on (which he can do easily), so all he does is surf on the computer for a bit...

@ Lev: It was actually a bit over it, due to XP.
What I paid for the computer is almost 1385 USD.
