... but I know a few of you lounge lizards will probably have a quick answer.

Does anyone here use and like a cheap HTML editor? The reason I am asking, is a company I used to work for and handle the web paga/online catalog for called today to ask me what I used to use there. Well, I have always used the dreamweaver suite (an older version now, but it still gets the job done) and I don't see any need for them to pay $400 for an editor, when their most complicated change may be altering some text on an existing page or adding an image.

    Any ideas?

If thats their only need for changes, seriously notepad :) would do.

How cheap, what features do you need? Is Notepad any good?

It would cause me much more frustration to try to explain to these two ladies in the office how to use notepad to edit the html.

They were willing to buy the macromedia prog, but I just thought it was way overkill. Anything with a WYSIWYG kind of interface would be great. I just don't have the time to either give tutorials on html editing to them on a regular basis, or to do it my self right now.

Saying a program is Mac compatible if you are using a PC emulator is a cop out.

They should just say its not compatible at all if they aren't going to support the OS.
