    Last night while watching TV we got a commercial break and it was advertising things for CHRISTMAS.
    It is not the end of August and the kids have not yet returned to school and they are pushing christmas goodies, :mad

    Hey Bill, I know I was watching sadly QVC UK the other night and they had a Christmas Show!! what August, but TV advertising in Belgium must be trying to get customers early, not going to work as you buy now, great good sales, but in Nov - Dec sales poor!

    Yeah, it sucks, i.m.o. Not got the Christmas garbage yet, but we have all the Father's Day propaganda at the moment. Like the big stores really care about the value of fathers and fatherhood. The value of my wallet and c/c contents, maybe.rolleyes

    At the end of July, I started seeing things for halloween!! I was like are.you.serious?!?!?! It's like they just jump from one holiday to the next, regardless if the the holiday is still months away. rolleyes

    Not that surprised really, it wont be long before the Boxing Day sales advertise sales for the following xmas.
    Mind you last year I saw Boxing sales before xmas.
