This one is kicking my tail....

Hey everybody .. hoping you can give me some pointers.. it's not often that I pick up malware that I can't figure out, but this E2Give is kicking my tail. I've even been through the sticky in this forum with no obvious results.

Without further adieu:

I've run the fixE2G.reg from the sticky. I've also run Avenger after inputting the text from the sticky.

Here's where I am:

I know it's ugly... any help that you lovely folks can provide will be MUCH appreciated!!!

Sorry guys ... if I can get an admin to delete the first post in the thread, I'd appreciate it.

I didn't even read the thread about attaching logfiles instead of copy/paste.

I've performed the Avenger and also run the fixE2G.reg with no beneficial results.

Welcome to Majorgeeks!

Why do you think you have E2Give. I don't see E2Give! I see Qoologic, webHancer (uninstall webHancer as indicated in the READ ME) and I see a bunch more.

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)

Thank you for taking a look. I did have e2Give, but those logs were done after I ran fixE2G.reg (from the sticky) and Avenger. I thought it must have still been there after I had run those two because I was still getting lots of popups. I knew it was gone after I tried to run Adaware again and the Windows shutdown sequence didn't begin.

As for my next logs, I'll complete the other scans you recommend and post my new logs in the next day or so.
