This site is still awesome!

Man it "slays" me how good this site is. (Sorry for the antiquated term.) From the downloads to the great help you get for the asking. It still makes me "awestruck" by watching the members help everyone, including the guests. Thank you again MajorGeeks for allowing me inside your group.

By the way, is "antiquated" spelled right?

 

I agree, I have lurked in several different Windows Help forums; even joined a couple. Never felt welcome in any of them except here. I lurked here for some time off and on over the last couple of years before actually joining in April. People feel welcome here and are getting actual help.

 

I'll echo that. It is so refreshing to have a site where everyone's primary goal is to help others....geek issues or not.....this place is just too cool

MajorGeeks has a great download ieSpell freeware

i cant remember if i downloaded this direct from MG or if i was referred to it by them but its a god send. once downloaded just right click and 'check spelling' pops up on the menu. much aloha

Tests shouldn't be a problem, as I've heard ( don't know for a fact ) that they include difficult feats like starting your computer with one eye closed, being able to tell the difference between the right and left mouse buttons, and if you are over 50, remembering your Windows password!

I agree with every one this is the best place on the net!! Where elce can you get all this info and keep updated on all fronts & get a good read and good laugh too?? all this and more is why this is my home page!
I am still learning but in here it is easy and fun too.
