Time Change

Time change tonight. Dark mornings again, but more evening light. We get ripped off an hour during the weekend though.
I like to change the clocks around 11:00pm tonight. I find that minimizes the hour loss tomorrow.

 

Not all countries observe DST, or "Summer Time" as it is called some places on the orb.

In the US, this includes Hawaii, Arizona with exceptions, Midway Islands, Wake Island, small region of Alaska.:hyper

 

Just a reminder: Daylight Savings Time is also a good marker to use to change the batteries in your smoke alarms and weather alert radios on a regular basis.

 

I hate this switch, now have to spend a month with dark mornings, makes it harder to wake up.

I have no idea. We go by 'Koala Time' over here. Every time the Koala is asleep, we need another beer. (Koalas sleep for 23 hrs/day). Well, we need some time to eat and go to the can, LoL! .LOL.

 

Guess the Groundhog or Prairie dog is our Koala.

2:00 AM becomes 1:00 AM, so when the clock hits 2:00 AM again it repeats.
It should tear a hole in the space-time continuum and start a Ground Hogs Day kinda thing, where we all live thru the same hour over and over again.

Sure after a week everyone would be waking up in the middle of the night but election party would be over by then:-D

 

I like some people's idea that they will get a better suntan, (like that's even a healthy thing to do, anyway), because of Daylight Saving time, as they call it here.rolleyes
