    Hi Guys,

Around 2 months ago now, I woke up one morning and just felt plain weird, I got tingling - numbish feeling in my toes, which is constant, won't go away! and when I get up I go dizzy, and when I walk around I am light headed, and this is also constant.

I've told my GP, he suggested it was anxiety doing it, but from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep, its there, it's affecting me in a bad way, and now it's starting to scare me!

I've even been to the hospital, had blood test and told all is O.K?.... I don't understand, I believed it was anxiety at the start, but now I really don't believe it's that because its constant, I know what anxiety is, and yes, I think it's playing a part in it now, becuase I am so damn worried about it, any doctors on this board got any suggestions?

    Hi

Sorry you're not feeling well. :( If you aren't getting answers from your present doc, go to another. Go to one until you find someone who can diagnose you. You have to be your own advocate. Tell them that you know something is wrong.

Getting advice online is never advisable. Doctors won't even diagnose over a phone much less on a public message board. You need to see someone in person.

I usually google and or go to a trusted website like Webmd.com. Hope you hang around and get some answers at a medial website.

Hmm, numbish toes eh? How's about numbish feet then like I have eh? Circulation? Peripheral Arterial Disease. Heck, diagnosing a motherboard would probably be easier! ;):-D The blood test sounded weird at first but perhaps they tested for diabetes? Could be a blood clot too ya know or insufficient heart action or a Trans-ischemic attack.

OK, I'm being an idiot here.;) Like Laura said, find someone who will listen to you and is capable of giving you real medical advice. Perhaps you need to upgrade your power supply?:) Good luck man.:)

    Hi Guys,

Laura, I see your point, but where I live there isn't really much of a choice unless becuase there's stuff all doctors that bulk bill (Medicare - like your medicade, except not as messed up).. Unless you can fork out $70 to $80 everytime you visit your GP, there's really only 2 options available. My doctor and the alternative is a GP I changed from years ago.

Ahhh, I got to get something sorted. I've had my blood sugar tested.

Thanks tim, but I did that yesterday and come up with the conclusion that searching online is a bad thing, just stresses you out, especially when you get hundreds of hits for many diffirent things.

    mcadam... Oink ;)

Hello EXOX3, you really should see a doctor.... If it is really bad, go to the ER... There are a LOT of reasons why you could be feeling this way, and since I am not a DR., I cannot advise you.. I do know that my husband went thru some very similar symptoms, and he had to go to the Dr. to get treated... No one 'size fits all', so you could be experiencing this for any number of reasons..Not even close to why he was feeling it.. Plus, your DR. has your medical history, we don't, so for anyone here to speculate, would not be fair...

GO TO THE DR AND GET CHECKED. :major

    Awesome. Good for you!

My sister and law is a cancer survivor and she hammers into people's heads that they have to be their own advocate. Doctors are not god. Sometimes you have to tell them the way it is.
