Too many programs do i need them all?

Hey there is so much anti-this and anti-that ware or anti-this or anti-that virus that i don't know if i need like 12 different anti-virus/spyware programs
right now i have Spybot S&D, Spysweeper, Microsoft Anti-virus, Norton Internet security, AVG Free, and i'm sure i've missed a few but do i need all this ??????

Debatable??? but some antispyware does pick up what some miss and vice versa.

I personally use.....

Ad-Aware
MS Anti Spyware 9 ( beta )
Active Ports
A2 ( which is a complement to your AV as it searches for Dialers/Trojans/Malware etc )

+ all OS updates and either readup and secure IE6 or use an alternate browser like Opera or Firefox........ and best advice is to surf safely and before you get click happy on a popup or email attachment just take a moment to ponder is this spyware... if you have to think then dont click/open

I do notice that you have AVG and Norton Internet Security... do you have Norton AV installed as part of that package? altho you can have 2 AVs installed it is NOT wise to have both live/background scanning as they will cause conflicts and major slowdowns... this was evident in work this week where we have McAfee Enterprise 7.1 installed on the network of PCs/laptops but one for some reason had Norton on and altho it didnt crash it was painfully sloooooooooow so uninstall either Norton AV or AVG ( personal pref would be to leave AVG on and dump Norton )

yes i do have Norton AV included with The internet security, But it sucks b/c i paid for that and i didn't pay for AVG should i still dump Norton AV and how do i when it is packaged with Norton internet security?
