I have done a Vista to XP "downgrade" on my A305-S6843 and I need the Lan, Audio, Video, and wireless drivers. Those were the only ones not on Toshibas website. Has anyone done this and know where i can get the drivers from? Or at least know what hardware i should be looking for from the manufacturers website?

Attach an Everest report and we'' ll give it a try.

Post a make and model # if your PC is manufactured (Dell, Gateway, HP, etc.) or your motherboard ID, if it is a build.
Use Everest to get a report of your system’s hardware, OS, and drivers. Upload the report as an attachment
    Everest: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4181
When Everest is done scanning, click "Report" at the top of the Everest window, click next to get to "Report Profile", select "Hardware related pages", click next, select "Plain Text", click "Finish". Then when it is done processing, click "Save To File". Save it where you want to. (I would use Desktop.)
Click "Go Advanced" in the MG reply box, scroll down a little way until you see "Manage Attachments", click it, browse to your file, click "Upload", and close the window. Then submit the post. You may have to also type something in the reply box, like, "Here's my report.", so that it will submit.

A bit of research shows that this driver will work for the video. You must install it through the Device Manager/Hardware Wizard and use the Have Disk option and point it to the extracted driver. Use the same technique to install this driver for the wifi. I downloaded the sound driver from the Toshiba site, I unzipped it and read the README file. It support Windows XP!!! Yes, I know they don't advertise this fact, but it says right there in the driver. So you can use Toshiba's sound driver for Windows XP. For the regular wired ethernet adapter, use this driver which is a direct download link from Realtek. Be sure to install the chipset driver first before installing all the others, and always reboot when prompted.

Good luck! I hope these all work for you. Keep us posted!

(if you don't already have a good file 'unzipper' installed, I highly recommend TUGzip. I use it on my home PC and it's by far my favorite file zip/unzip utility. It's free and IMO it's way better than the paid unzippers like WinZip or WinRAR. You can use it to unzip all the downloads I linked to above, which you'll have to do in order to install them via the Device Manager/Have Disk method. First, download TUGzip from MajorGeeks. When you install it, just click next all the way through until you get to a screen where you have a "Select All" button on the left, along with several other buttons. Be sure to "Select All" and then click Finish. After that, a window that looks like a typical Explorer window will open, just close it, you don't need it. To unzip a file called "Driver File #1" for example, you'd right click it. In the menu that comes up you'll see several options with a green arrow. You'll choose the option that says "Extract to: .\Driver File #1". This will result in a folder with the unzipped drivers called 'Driver File #1'. This would be the folder you'd point the Hardware Wizard to when using the Have Disk method.)
