Toshiba Satellite L465-S4033 was overheating. I took it apart blew the fan out and applied more thermal compound. When I put it back together it wouldn't boot, the fan tries to start but doesn't. It retries every 5 seconds. Power, psu plugged in, and battery charging lights comes on. What did I do? Can it be fixed. Does anyone have a diagram of where I should check for power with my multimeter? I've searched the internet but couldn't find one.

First thing to check is your ram. Try taking the ram out then putting it back in. What do you mean "applied more thermal compound"? Did you clean off the old stuff first? Are there any diag beeps?
