One of our computers started having the Total Security window pop up on almost every action taken. While i was away someone ran the recovery option at start up and I think only confused things. The Total Security is not popping up now but I am not able to download any of your diagnostic software. My antivirus software (AT&T security suite, I know not good but it was what was on there) will not start up, an old version of Norton will not start, it seems almost everyting is corrupt and I cannot get to anything to make fixes. Any suggestions you can make will be much appreciated

    computer info:
    HP pavillion a532x
    AMD Athlon 2800 2.08
    XP Home edition

Please let me know if there is any further information I can provide to assist your diagnosis.

    Thank you!!!

Please try running the below online scan:

    http://www.superantispyware.com/onlinescan.html

Reboot immediately after scanning if it finds and removes anything. Let me know if anything was found. It does not save a log.
After running this and assuming it runs, then see if you can run other tools.
