    Hello fellow GEEKS!

So I have what I hope is an relatively uneventful and easy question to answer?

So I have 2 Hewlett-Packard laptops. One is a touch screen (17-x115dx) and the other is NOT (17-x116dx).

The laptop with the touch screen has a bad motherboard and I was wondering if it is possible to take the touch screen and add it to the functioning laptop without a touch screen?

I recently swapped the 2 screens out and the touch screen isn't recognized. I looked in device manager and there is no HID listing for touch.

Is there a way to add a driver to the non-touch laptop that now has a touch screen installed?

I did the google thing and also checked HP's support site for a driver to no avail.

    Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for your time and wisdom!
