Tournament Results

My daughter entered into three events: forms, sparring, and weapons.

Results:
1st place, forms
1st place, weapons
1st place, sparring


She was a real warrior; she was injured several times during sparring. She had four matches. Both arms were battered due to excessive force from the other competitors. She took a kick to the knee, and she was illegally hit in the mouth. She prevailed, despite it all. Her last match and winning point was a jab to the head.

She received perfect marks for her weapons form (nunchaku). She barely squeezed by in forms due to stage fright and panic. It caused her to forget what she was doing.

She has a few ranks left before getting first Dan.

She has a black stripe rank testing next month. Then she has her black belt, recommended rank, and then black belt, decided after that.
