How do I get rid of these things.I scan w/ ewido and it finds 50 or more tracking cookies everytime I scan. After I have removed them I scan again and there gone. But if I go on the internet, even if it's just google, they come back again.
This is getting very irritating. This is what I use for security: adaware is my shield+scanner, spybots&d w/out tea timer activated it finds at least 4 of the same cookies every scan ,windows defender which has yet to find anything, and ewido which is the one that finds 50 or more cookies just about every scan. Also a few well known virus scanner such as avast, and antivir to name a couple. Sounds like over kill but I still manage to get this crap on my pc. I'm going to go through the read and run me fisrt procedures and I'll post again with the results.
In the meantime heres what my last log looks like from my ewido scan maybe someone here can make something of it. How do I stop these things from comming back? And do you have any suggestions on a better security configuration?

Heres the ewido report thx guys your always a big help here:

Ok I finished running all the tests. For some reason bitdefender recognizes that kill2me program I downloaded from here as a virus, I know it's not but it ended up deleting it. Panda scan found a few things mostly cookies, other than that every other test came up clean.Heres the reports,I'm also posting a hijackthis log.

Just to keep you moving along before BJ comes back. You need to follow steps 3 of the READ ME. You have three antivirus applications installed:

    Avast4
    AVG
    BitDefender8

    Uninstall all but one!

I thought I was able to use more than 1 as long as only 1 resident shield is active.I only have 1 antivirus w/ it's shield installed, am I not able to do this?
I use 1 for the shield as a preventitive measure and the others for the scanners.

No! The services are still running. You are wasting system resources and they can still conflict with each other. We do say uninstall all but one. We do not say disable.

Your HJT log looks good, are you having any current problems?

No the only problems I have seen thus far are after I rebooted from safe mode I noticed that adaware blocked 3 so caled "tracking cookies" when I wasn't even connected to the internet. Also I just uninstalled all other antivirus programs except for avast, and I want to use that as a resident shield also, but the only problem is,I didn't install the shield when I first installed it.I would just reinstall it but, I have a virus that is quarintened and I don't want it to reinfect my computer. So if I reinstall it will this virus be released back on my pc? I also tried to activate the shield through avast in every way possible but it will not activate it,so I must not have it installed during the initial setup process.

    Thx for the help,
    Grimmer

No, if you uninstall it will most likely be deleted. Personally I would not use more than one AV because as Chaslang stated it will cause conflicts. It's up to you whether you install it or not but you may have some problems.

yeah I only planned on using only 1 which is avast.Just wanted to know if I reinstall it if that virus that is in quarintine will reinfect my pc.
