Tracking Cookie, wont go away

My friend's computer cannot use the internet but he is connected. Both wireless and local connect are working. He scanned using ad-aware SE personal and got Tracking Cookie. So he removed them, but they came back right after. He ran Mircrosoft AntiSpyware didnt detect anything..
He has tried to do everything in the Read & Run Me First sticky, but cannot update and spybot search and destroy cant work

Plz, any suggestion would be greatly appreaciated

 

I deleted your other thread. Please do not start duplicate threads for the same problem.

If your friend has completed all the steps in our tutorial, minus the scans that won't run; have him post his logs in this thread.

 

sorry bout the double post, wanted to change something but couldnt edit my last post..
i gave him my version of the scan programs so he was able to clean it up
