Trail of tears

I sure that there some members here that live in the S.E. of our great country.
Back in 1994 some people got together and started "THE TRAIL OF TEARS MOTORCYCLE RIDE".
I did not ride that year, but I did ride in every one since 1995. In 1995 there was about 400 or so that started in Chattanooga, by the time we got to Huntsville, Al., there was 1500 to 2000.
When I rode in last years ride, about 40,000 left Chattanooga, and at the rides end, they say there were 90 to 100,000 bikers!
I don't know if the gas prices is going to hurt the ride, but here in SE Tennessee, regular is around $4.11 and high test (oops, showing my age) I mean unleaded premium is $5.05 (yesterdays prices in a town called Soddy Daisy)

And if live in the area and ride, come join us, and if you don't ride, come out to the route and wave the riders on! It will make you feel good to see these thousands of bikers riding for good cause.
The ride starts 20th of September, the 3rd Saturday of the month.

I've heard of it, live on the west coast, it's truly awesome when that many people get together for any united cause. Good luck and have a good time

 

i always wanted to go to that but never get the chance maybe this year if i'm back in time.
