Transfer PROGRAMS from Desktop to Laptop (Searched already)

    Yes, I've already searched.
    I'm trying to find out if I can transfer a few programs from my Desktop to my Laptop without needing the installation files or the CD's. I lost the CD's when I moved and I don't have the installation files saved on my PC.

    Any ideas? I would greatly appreciate it as I will be giving my desktop to a friend as a Christmas present if I can find out how to get these programs onto my laptop.
