Transfer Quickbooks account information

    I made a clean install of Windows XP on a new computer, and i need to transfer all quickbooks information (company, accounts, etc) to the new computer. Is there a way to do that w/o setting up company info again? Thanks

    I don't know Quickbooks, but I would try this:

    On the old PC, burn the entire Quickbooks directory structure to CD, then copy it intact to the new PC and install Quickbooks from original media into that same directory. If you're lucky your settings will be retained. You also might consider consulting the Intuit support knowledge base:
