transfer vista?

    Hi all, i have a old gateway a gt5560e,that runs vista.having a problem with the hard drive "i think" the question is i wanted to know if i can copy the vista folder on a external hard drive and put it on another hard drive? this computer was never backed up,and i have no install disk. can anyone help me out?

    I use Acronis and it works very well, but there are Easeus, DiskImage and HDClone. go to the Backup area of MajorGeeks download for others.
