To all innovative thinkers,, I am trying to locate a way to transmit my basic cable tv wirelessly to the other rooms in my home. I am really tired of running wire and would like to get tv to my son without having to run wire. A secured method would be preferred, not too keen of giving out free cable. Any ideas or links will be appreciated.

I found another product called the "x10" but their website was full of popups and looked real cheezy; a prime source of malware/adware/spyware. Needless to say I navigated away real quick. I only mention it because it looked like an OK product, in spite of the web site. Maybe you can find another link to it.....

Since your asking in a computer forum, I'd say does the kid have a wireless hook up to the net? Buy a slingbox and he can get TV on the net from it. I got tired of running cables too (after I ran the network in) But still wanted TV on my other PCs, my main PC has direct cable via a TV tuner card, but no others until I got my Slingbox. The quality is a little low because of the video compression, but good enough.
