Trend Micro IS 2008 does not update

After downloading the 30-day trial version about a week ago, I find I am unable to update during weekends. Trend Micro support has been great, but they don't seem to understand the issue. The first thing you need to do to update to defend against the latest viruses is make sure that the version numbers in your PC are the same as the ones on the Trend Micro site. This is done and both versions are identical. Nevertheless, last weekend and this weekend, when trying to update, the message "all updates have been installed" appears. The last update is Friday and it is now Sunday even though Trend Micro says their servers are updated every three hours (this is also the update time in my PC.) I would very much like to buy this product, but "hackers" don't take the weekend off. Any suggestions would be appreciated. If this can't be solved, I'll probably buy Norton 360.

TrendMicro is a reputable company, so I doubt they just take the weekend off. In this case it would be easier for you to ask them directly why it's happened two weekends in a row that you didn't get updates over the weekend.
