Tried what I can

Posting from another computer in the house.

About 2 weeks ago the computer in question started hanging. It also became clear that something was hi-jacking the web browsers. Everything related to malware was re-directing.
Now the only way to get the computer to work at all is by doing this - as soon as the cursor appears and can select a quick launch icon at the bottom you need to do that. Otherwise the machine just hangs.

I tried running your "read me first malware removal" - here's what happened.

I downloaded all tools (not MG) without a problem.

SAS installed but wouldn't run.

Malwarebytes wouldn't install.

Combofix wouldn't run.

Rootrepeal ran but the machine hung in the middle.

Before I came across your site I tried malwarebytes and it would only run if re-named - it found nothing. Now even the re-name wont run.

Please help if possible.
