Triplicates in outlook

before i do anything stupid LOL.. i am using outlook 2003.. some how i got triplicates of EVERYTHING.. how can i get rid of them for FREE and without having to go thru each one by hand.. there's over 6,000

but say if there's four of the same appt. it doesnt leave one and move three it moves all 4.

 

How did you get the triplicates in the first place; did you use the Outlook IMPORT function by any chance? (Never IMPORT a PST file, always open it from Outlook!)

Anyway, I don't think there are any free tools to remove duplicates/triplicates from Outlook. Your best option is to use the original PST file before the multiples arrived. Otherwise you may have to remove them manually. (I have done that once, and I know that it is quite a pain!)

 

Are you saying IMPORT caused this? She mentioned nothing about importing. And, besides, Import would cause that if done correctly.

 

I was asking if she used the Import function. Importing a PST file (instead of just opening it) can cause all kinds of problems, so I always discourage people from using it.

We can only know how it happened when the OP responds.
