Trojan and spyware

I am scanning my computer now using AVG Free and Ad-Aware. During dinner the virus scanner was running and found a virus called VBKeyboardhook.dll in my brothers folder. Now, he moved away in December and hasn't been on the computer since, so I found it odd that a trojan would appear in his folder. I stopped the scan (probably wasn't a good idea) and moved it to the vault. Now I'm running it again and have found 4 viruses, 3 VBKeyboardhook.dll, A0161549.dll. While running Ad-Aware (it is still running) it has found 230 new critical objects and near completion. This worries me, considering I scan with Spybot on a regular basis.

My internet has been acting up for about two weeks and still is. When I try to go to websites it claims that the site is not found. I deleted all my cookies for IE and Firefox, and cleared out my %temp% folder. My internet worked only for the night then.

I was looking through the list of malicious programs and I found viewpoint manager and view to be there, and I removed them ASAP.

I am wondering if my internet, these trojans, and the spyware is all linked together. I'm only 14 but I try to keep my family's computer protected, but I don't understand how something like this can happen.

Any information on this problem will be greatly appriciated. I will run hijack this soon, after I rescan my computer.

The virus is gone now, and so is the spyware. What I'm also asking is why isn't my internet loading websites?

    Thanks for the help.

If you are still having problems, then there is a good chance that 1 or more viruses are still on the system. That is why I posted our standard support reply. The steps in that thread need to be completed in order for myself and any of the other volunteers to conduct a proper diagnosis.

I will run everything tomorrow, right now I am waiting for my virus scanner to finish so I can catch some sleep. Thank you for all your help, and I will respond tomorrow.
