trojan attacking malwarebytes anti malware?

I suspect this is a false positive from AVG. We are finding that AVG and a few other AV programs are now targeting the software that helps to find malware. It is why we have stopped recommending AVG. If you want to check the file, upload it to http://virusscan.jotti.org/en

 

Not necessarily a fool proof set of results either. Due to the types of things scanners ( like MBAM ) will do, the actions could always be misinterpreted. The same would be true of scanning files internal to AVG which also makes changes to your registry, to your file system, automatically downloads files in the background without your knowledge.....etc. Get my point. MBAM could just as easily declare AVG to be infected/malware but some companies are a little smarter/careful than others who border on the edge of irresponsible.
