    Greetings,

I have used spyware doctor on my laptop and it find this file and cannot delete it, then when restarts it scans again and is still there.

Spyware doc told me that it was a registry entry which allows an attacker to access highly personal details, eg. banking,.

It opens both ports 1093 and 1037, and then lets the attacker know.

I get a message as soon as i connect to the internet, thankfully i am using my other computer atm.

How can i get rid of this without formatting my drive and partition, as i read that if you format the partition and drive this gets rid of it.

I also bought norton systemworks 2006, installed after a few attempts, but when i boot up machine or click on norton shortcut, a norton box appears with only the button next on it, the information is not shown and clicking next does nothing. I have tried re-installing but nothing still, this is a genuine shop copy of norton also..?
i dont know if these 2 are related.

Thanks for all the help it is much appriciated.

Is you copy of Spyware Doctor a paid subscription version. If so, ask them why they are not fixing what they are finding. If it is not a paid version then I would not waste any system resources having it running all the time.

Attaching a log from Spyware Doctor would be more useful.

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.
    • Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
    • Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
    • After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
    • When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
      • Bitdefender
      • Panda Scan
      • HijackThis
