This is my 1st time posting here and i have seen people get rid of their malware. Ive seen other threads about this specific Trojan, but that user's case was different and had different files affected. I came about Trojan Horse dropper.agent.git on Wednesday Jan. 16th and have been trying to remove it and now i get notifications about dropper.win32.agent.dgo i think i may have gotten rid of agent.git, but im not sure.
I have run Vundofix.exe, CCleaner and Symantec's FxVmonde.exe many times, and vundofix never found any files, but Kaspersky, Spybot and Ad-Aware have. I have read and followedl the steps in the "Read me and Run" sticky in this forum but it didnt get rid of the problem. I think I have attached the correct files, but please let me know if there is anything else that I need to do. I have Kaspersky instead of AVG so i attached the VundoFix log instead. Thanks in advanced.

I also forgot to add: I got infected while i was surfing some usual sites in firefox, when a new tab opened by itself asking me to install some protection thing, i said no, and it installed itself, it left a shortcut on the desktop, so i right clicked on it to see where the source files were located so i could remove them and it had an http address as the source, and thats when i knew something was up and the infections came afterward. I forgot the name of the app, but it ended with GuardPro

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Is your copy of Spyware Doctor a paid version or free trial? If free, uninstall it now.

Okay now we need to use a new tool.
    • Download and save to RenV.exe to your Desktop (must be on the Desktop)
    • Now Copy the bold text in the below code box to notepad. Save it as Log.txt to your desktop. (It must be on your Desktop).
    Code:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\UpdateService\issch .exe
    C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper .exe
    C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0\avp .exe
    C:\Program Files\Lexa software\Organizer\organizer .exe
    C:\Program Files\Lexa software\Organizer\organizer .exe
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft IntelliType Pro\itype .exe
    C:\WINDOWS\ime\imjp8_1\IMJPMIG .EXE
    C:\WINDOWS\ime\imkr6_1\IMEKRMIG .EXE
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon .exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\IME\PINTLGNT\ImScInst .exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\IME\TINTLGNT\TINTSETP .EXE

    • Now using your mouse, drag Log.txt onto RenV.exe
    • When finished, RenV.exe will produce a new log names Log.txt on your Desktop I will ask for this log later.
    • Now Click on Start, then Run ... type services.msc into the box that opens up, and press 'OK'.
    • On the page that opens, scroll down to Symantec Core LC
    • then right click the entry, select Properties and press Stop Service.
    • When it shows that it is stopped, next please set the Start-up Type to 'Disabled'.
    • Click OK until you get back to Windows.

Uninstall the below old versions of software:
Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2
Viewpoint Media Player <-- should have been uninstalled in step 0 of the READ ME

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it. This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {0320162E-AAF2-405B-A05E-BB74DA1A3016} - C:\windows\system32\vtsqo.dll
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {035F1E27-1D62-44C8-8047-3097BAD5191A} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
    O4 - HKCU\..\Policies\Explorer\Run: [NTSecurity] NTSecurity.exe
    O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-19\..\Run: [AVG7_Run] C:\PROGRA~1\AVG7\avgw.exe /RUNONCE (User 'LOCAL SERVICE')
    O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-20\..\Run: [AVG7_Run] C:\PROGRA~1\AVG7\avgw.exe /RUNONCE (User 'NETWORK SERVICE')

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Now download The Avenger by Swandog46, and save it to your Desktop.
    • Extract avenger.exe from the Zip file and save it to your desktop
    • Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.
    • Check the 'Input script manually' box.
    • Click on the magnifying glass icon.
    • Copy everything in the Quote box below, and paste it in the box that opens:
    • Now click the 'Done' button.
    • Click on the traffic light icon and OK the prompt.
    • You will be prompted to restart, OK the prompt and your PC should reboot, if not, reboot it yourself.
    • A log file from Avenger will be produced at C:\avenger.txt
After reboot, now install the current version of Sun Java from: Sun Java Runtime Environment

Also delete all files in the below folders except ones from the current date (Windows will not let you delete the files from the current day).
    C:\WINDOWS\Temp
    C:\Documents and Settings\Pipucho\Local Settings\Temp

    Now run Ccleaner!

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this and also attach the log from Avenger.

Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

I appreciate all your help and thanks for the fast response. Ok i have done all the steps that you have told me but i have notices a few problems. I unistalled Spyware Doctor, but i saw in the RenV window that many of the files could not be found or removed, then with analyze.exe, i couldn't find these three processes

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {0320162E-AAF2-405B-A05E-BB74DA1A3016} - C:\windows\system32\vtsqo.dll
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {035F1E27-1D62-44C8-8047-3097BAD5191A} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)

    but removed the rest.

Another problem arose when I noticed that avenger couldnt find or delete some files as well, but you may see detailed descriptions of these problems i have mentioned in the log files. Aside from these problems every other step came out with excellent results and my computer loads up way faster now, but i dont think we have gotten rid of the Trojan just yet.

The items that were not found are not issues. Some of them may have already been removed by other scans. Some aspects of the steps are backups just incase things still remained.

Your Kaspersky antivirus program is one of the things that became infected by the Vundo infection you picked up. It would really be better it you uninstalled it, rebooted (don't skip), then after reboot delete the below folder

    C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab

    Then you can reinstall Kaspersky.

I recommend you do the same with Lexa software\Organizer since it is still possibly infected.

You can attach a new MGlogs.zip file after doing the above and we can continue from that point.

Ok i have unistalled and then reinstalled Kaspersky and Lexa Organizer, Kaspersky started scanning things and found a file from the Trojan Almost Immediately, it was:

    C:\System Volume Information\_restore{DAD6D5AB-6F0F-471C-87F4-C0d854A217AB}\RP1615\A0645273.exe

I stopped the scan to not interfere with the log creation, should i rescan? it took about 4 hours last time.

    I visited

    C:\WINDOWS\Temp
    C:\Documents and Settings\Pipucho\Local Settings\Temp

again and deleted the contents but have not run CCleaner again since you told me last post.

A new log was made with C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat and C:\MGlogs.zip was attached.

This is just in System Restore and will be remove during our final instructions when we will toggle System Restore. And since your logs are now clean, we are ready to do this.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. If we used Pocket Killbox during your cleanup, do the below
      • Run Pocket Killbox and select File, Cleanup, Delete All Backups
    2. If we used ComboFix then UNINSTALL COMBOFIX (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN
      • Now type combofix /u in the runbox and click OK.
      • Note: The space between the X and the /U, it must be there.
    3. If we user SDFix you can delete all the SDFix related files and folders from your Desktop or whereever you installed it.
    4. If we used SmitFraudFix, you can delete all files and folders related to it now including the c:\rapport.txt log.
    5. If we used VundoFix, you can delete the VundoFix.exe file and the C:\VundoFix Backups folder and C:\vundofix.txt log that was created.
    6. If we had your run FixWareOut, you can delete the Fixwareout.exe file and the C:\fixwareout folder.
    7. If we had you run Avenger, you can delete all files related to Avenger now.
    8. If we had you run RenV.exe, you can delete it and the Log.txt file on your Desktop.
    9. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    10. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    11. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    12. If you are running Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning steps in the READ ME for your Window version and see the steps to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    13. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
