Trojan horse BHO.CVX & packed morphine

I have been trying to get rid of this virus, on my friends pc, i was on the internet, and was following the Read and run me first steps, i run ccleaner in normal mode, then went into safe mode to go into the administrators and use ccleanup, after i rebooted i lost all internet connection, checked all the normal settings, says i am connected, my isp is closed at the moment, any ideas please.
