Trojan horse downloader

I recently downloaded AVG Anti-virus & it tells me there are a couple of files infected with something called a trojanhorsedownloader.small21.BQ virus. It's listed as an infected embedded object. I don't have a clue about this stuff, and the AVG doesn't seem to be getting rid of it, nor is it giving me any options to heal it or throw it in the vault. Anybody have any idea what to do about this?
