Anyone hear of this trojan? Trojan horse start page 4.0 If so where can I Go to read about it. I have already searched till my eyes are sore with no luck in finding it mentioned anywhere. Thanks

Not come across that exact name but thr Trojan Startpage and its varients can be read up about here http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/analyses/index_s.html

the general annoyance of these are they add lines into the registry in the RUN keys that add or change your Browser Homepage and maybe run other popup adds or dialers... etc etc

BTW Den what AntiVirus or other software gave you that name? and do the home page for that app give you any info?

Mabey why I couldn't find anything on this trojan was that I was looking for 4.0 when actually it was 4.Q. ( Old and bloodshot eyes ) But all is well now AVG finally took care of it. It took awhile to get rid of all the remnants but it's goodbye to that trojan. Thanks
