    how to remove this trojan it was found in one of my tools convertxtodvd

    It's not affecting my computer as far as i know and my nod32 says my system is clean,but i scan my pc using kaspersky online scan and the result says that one of my tool has a trojan.so i check it online and i found some explanation saying when u use the dvd cenverter the virus is running and also try to look at the firefox password.i'm running windows xp sp3,intel pentium 4 2.4ghz 512 ram,40gig disk

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

    Thanks for the reply,i did an online scan with other antivirus sites and my pc is ok,so i will just remove the convertxtodvd tools since it is just an installer.but i will still scan my pc with this guide u gave to me.:)
