"Trojan-Spy.Win32@mx"

Hia All,

I hope I've done everything correctly, please forgive me if I missed something. I tried to do all the "do this" and "read this" first stuff.

I've attached my hjt log.

Here is a description of the problem / symptoms:

I occassionally get pornographic pop up windows wanting to set me up with singles in my area. I also will get pop-ups that say "You probably have this virus or that virus click here to scan or clean it up or whatever." I have been very diligent in not clicking any of those things or installing anything from untrusted sources.

I also get a message in my system tray that says "System Alert: Trojan-Spy.Win32@mx" it gives a general description and instructions to click the baloon to download official security software."

One of the mosre common pop up windows I get says "Your system is probably infected with the latest version of Spyware.CyberLog-X" it goes on to explain that all sorts of terrible things will probably happen if I don't click ok and download some sort of protection.

I ran my Norton Internet Security tool, and it didn't find anything. Then I downloaded webroot's Spy Sweeper. It did locate something, said it removed it, but the problem remains. I also downloaded and ran Spybot Search and Destroy. Similar results with that. Says it removed or corrected something, but the problem remains.

So here I am I sure hope you're able to help me.

Please attach the logs from the READ ME, such as online scan logs, GetRunKey and ShowNew logs along with a fresh HJT log. If you have not ran the online scans please go back and do so as they are a key step in removing these baddies from your system.
