trojan.startup.nameshifter.GL

I am having an issue removing trojan.startup.nameshifter.GL from a pc I am working on. This pc was inundated with spyware and trojan files. By following the directions for removal of viruses and spyware files posted on this forum, I was able to erradicate most of the problems. This trojan just will not go away. I have run Trend Micro, Bitdefender, and Norton Antivirus. I have run Adaware, Spybot, CCleaner, CCShredder, Trojan Hunter, Microsoft anti-spyware, and multiple individual programs specific to trojans. Most of them find files but on a reboot this trojan comes right back.

DO NOT post HijackThis logs until they are requested and then they are posted as ATTACHMENTS not pasted into your post. You also have HijackThis installed incorrectly.

Your log shows no signs of having ran any of the requested online scans.

Please follow the steps below:

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:
