trojan viruses everywhere

i have a problem with my girlfriend's computer. It is riddled with viruses and i've gone through many steps to rid them but they are still there. First the symptoms: when trying to surf through IE avast pops up with viruses and may home web page is about:blank and returns there everytime. The viruses that come up are trojano-1175 trojano-1218 and trojan-gen. I've gone through and disabled the system restore and rebooted in safe mode, updated all the scans i ran and then proceeded scanning and removing with spybot, avast, cwsshredder, about blaster and HSremove. They are all still there. I have a hijack file ready to upload if you need it. thanks.

If It was my computer I think it would be time to back up and reformat. As for Viruses, Spybot S&D doesn't remove viruses it removes spyware and adware. Try using AVG or another Antivirus program. I could use a little more info if you could post it (such as what kind of computer, What if any Antivirus programs are installed).
