I have Norton AntiVirus and all of a sudden it started popping up with a High Risk window claiming I have "Trojan.Vundo.B" on my computer. It says it is unable to repair the file and that access to the file was denied every time I sign on to the computer.
I downloaded Symatec Trojan.Vundo Removal, but this program finds nothing when it searches. My computer seems to be running OK except for the Norton ANtiVirus window that will not close.
I am not computer savvy and do not even know what a Trojan.Vundo is. Can someone please explain how I got it, what it does and most importantly how do I get rid of it?
thank you, I will try to check this, but would appreciate an email at ossonline@optonline.net
    thank you!

After doing ALL of the above if you still have a problem:

    http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Download HijackThis 1.99.1

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the ZIP file as your backups will not be safely stored.
