I can not get this virus off this computer. I've tried using the Symantec Removal tool to remove this trojan, but it didn't find it. It keeps having send receive pop up boxes come up, and it will completely cover the desk top. Can anyone help?

I forgot to add that it's a Dell comp and runs XP

Can anyone help me? If it isn't the trojan, then what can it be? I don't know how to read the hijack this file, so I need some help, please.

Please complete the following in order to get your computer into a known state. You have not run the online scans nor do I see where you have installed and run some of the required utilities.

You also have Hijack This installed exactly where we ask that you NOT run it from. You have it here: C:\Documents and Settings\Marcos\My Documents\hijackthis\HijackThis.exe

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
    • Bitdefender
    • Panda Scan
    • HijackThis

Ok I did all the steps and the prob is still there. I am guessing that I got the trojan.vundo off, but something is still trying to send e-mail and I'm about to just throw this damn thing out the window.

If you completed the steps, where are the requested/required attachments so you can receive further help?

From my first reply to you, post #5 above:
