   i have the trojan vundo virus. i have tried the symantec remover and it can't find the file. i need some help removing it. i have read through a few threads at various places and can't seem to get anything to work.

   That is totally unnecessary and takes longer than running the cleaning procedure.
   
   Norton/Symantec cannot fix or in many cases even detect Vundo (even though they say the program was designed for it - they don't have a clue and never did).
   
   Run the below (also listed in the sticky threads)
   
   Virtumonde aka Trojan Vundo Removal
