I am receiving a trojan message when i am on a browser as well as just looking though my own files, it usually appears when i do anything, like open a folder or then run a program.... and it reads:

    "Critical System Error!
Your browser was hijacked by Trojan.Win32.Agent.akk
You need to clean your system immediately, in other case it can be crashed soon!
Click OK to download the high-tech antispyware protection software! (recommended)"

I have not clicked OK, and am always clicking cancel. I also have done the READ & RUN ME FIRST process, but I am still receiving this message.

I don't really know what this trojan does, i just read that it is high risk. I am pretty sure it came about because of a 'videomp3 codec' that was downloaded and installed.

I also forgot to add i also receive a message when i use internet explorer saying my system is probably infected with the latest version of the Trojan.Zlob-X.a, click to download antispyware. This only happens when i use IE though.

My log files are attacthed. Thanks in advanced!

Please use add/remove programs to uninstall:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 3

    Reboot and install:
    Java Runtime 6

Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following:

    1. Download FixIEDef.zip by ShadowPuterDude to the Desktop.
    * NOTE: It must be saved to your Desktop or it may not work properly
    2. Double-click FixIEDef.zip, this will create a folder named FixIEDef on your Desktop.
    3. Double-click of the FixIEDef folder.
    4. Locate FixIEDef.bat and double-click on it.
    5. FixIEDef will now run.
    6. Press any key to close the CMD Console when the script is finished.

Note: process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool". It is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it. This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
NOTE: HJT may popup an error about the AppInit_DLLs line. Ignore it and click OK to continue.

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Now download The Avenger by Swandog469, and save it to your Desktop.

    * Extract avenger.exe from the Zip file and save it to your desktop
    * Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.
    * Check the 'Input script manually' box.
    * Click on the magnifying glass icon.
    * Copy everything in the Quote box below, and paste it in the box that opens:

    * Now click the 'Done' button.
    * Click on the traffic light icon and OK the prompt.
    * You will be prompted to restart, OK the prompt and your PC should reboot, if not, reboot it yourself.
    * A log file from Avenger will be produced at C:\avenger.txt

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this and also attach the log from Avenger.
