Thank you for the speedy reply. I am in the process of reading through the directions in the READ and RUN ME FIRST part and I will definitely let you know how it goes. So Far I've downloaded most of the cleaners.
Will post again as soon as I finish with the directions.
    Appreciate the assistance!

After you do what Halo recommended, do the below and then tell us how things are working.

Run FixIEDef which removes IE Defender, AntiSpyPro and the associated Trojan.Downloader.Delf infection.
    1. Download FixIEDef.zip by ShadowPuterDude to the Desktop.
      • NOTE: It must be saved to your Desktop or it may not work properly
    2. Double-click FixIEDef.zip, this will create a folder named FixIEDef on your Desktop.
    3. Double-click of the FixIEDef folder.
    4. Locate FixIEDef.bat and double-click on it.
    5. FixIEDef will now run.
    6. Press any key to close the CMD Console when the script is finished.
Note: process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool". It is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

;) Thank you very much for the assistance ! I have followed the steps of the run and read me first list as advised by Halo and afterwards followed Chaslang's instructions.
Apparently, the virus has been cleaned from my laptop since I no longer get the flashing box message saying my pc was attacked by the trojan.win32.agent.akk virus.
I am still attaching my logs to this post just in case you would want to view them. I could not find, however, any reports from the ASG Antivirus cleaner. I do have the HiJack this log which I will also attach.
Again, many, many thanks for the help!

We don't ask for HJT logs because we already have them as part of MGlogs.zip and ours is properly installed and renamed. ;)

Please uninstall the below old versions of software:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10
    Java(TM) 6 Update 2
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1

    Do the above before continuing!

We need to get a new log to make sure all of your infection was removed.

Please run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created.

    Noted!

Attached is the newest log via MGTools as per your instructions. I have also uninstalled the three old software versions listed prior to the creationof the new log.
Keeping my fingers crossed that my laptop is now free of the trojan!
    MANY THANKS!:strong

    You're logs are clean.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. If we used Pocket Killbox during your cleanup, do the below
      • Run Pocket Killbox and select File, Cleanup, Delete All Backups
    2. If we used ComboFix, you can delete the ComboFix.exe file, C:\ComboFix folder, C:\QooBox folder, C:\WINDOWS\nircmd.exe, C:\combofix.txt and C:\ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt logs that was created.
    3. If we user SDFix you can delete all the SDFix related files and folders from your Desktop or whereever you installed it.
    4. If we used SmitFraudFix, you can delete all files and folders related to it now including the c:\rapport.txt log.
    5. If we used VundoFix, you can delete the VundoFix.exe file and the C:\VundoFix Backups folder and C:\vundofix.txt log that was created.
    6. If we had your run FixWareOut, you can delete the Fixwareout.exe file and the C:\fixwareout folder.
    7. If we had you run Avenger, you can delete all files related to Avenger now.
    8. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    9. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    10. If you are running Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning steps in the READ ME for your Window version and see the steps to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    11. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
