trojandownloader.exe

    Please help. My computer has downloader.exe. It keeps saying it is infected with spyware. The spyware keeps popping up. The computer is extremely slow. IF I run ad aware the computer will shutdown. Some of the things that pop say trojan downloader.exe. I have already ran logs but just waiting for someone who wants to look at them.

    Sorry if I am doing anything wrong or posting this in the wrong spot. I tried the sequence to remove the malware. The trojandownloader.exe is still there. My computer will not even stay on now. It will be on for a minute and it will shut-off. I could not download several things onto the computer like java or spybot.

    If you do not get us any logs we cannot help you. Try running things in safe boot mode. Otherwise download the tools to another PC and copy them to your PC via CD or flashdrive.

    That's a start and ComboFix tried to remove a ton of problems but may not have worked. But you need to put ComboFix.exe on your Desktop as specified in the older version of the READ ME which you must have been referring to. And ComboFix.exe should have been renamed to cf.exe

    I say older version of the READ ME because if you read the current verion, ComboFix has been removed do to it causing some PCs to become unbootable recently. You probably don't need to worry about this since it ran for you but it does look like it may be an older version of ComboFix. Did you download this just now from our link or did you already have this or get it from somewhere eles? Malwarebytes Anti-Malware was put into the READ ME to replace ComboFix.

    Please try to run as much of the CURRENT version of the READ ME as possible.
