We're getting pretty close to some of the biggest anticipated movies of the summer, so I thought I'd start a thread for TROPIC THUNDER, which has to be one of the funniest trailers I've seen, hands down, for a very long time. Finally Hollywood's bringing us a movie that mocks itself in a truly funny way, with the actors making fun of themselves via a very clever and hilarious script, indeed. Some of these lines are just comedy gold. See for yourself!

I really liked the trailer,RDJ having a race change had me in stitches roflmao

I just hope this comedy doesn't go the same way as most comedy's with a bunch of soppy melodrama at the end,its a comedy I don't want learn something about how I can be a better person but alas it does look like a Three Amigos remake where the actors find thier inner humanity and put saving people above their own selfish aspirations,I live in hope.

 

Yeah, this is one I've been waiting for,, that's the problem for me this season tho, too many good movies, not enough cash

I agree, scorcer. :< Not enough money! I think this one definitely makes the list of those I'll pay togo see though... Gonna see it with all my friends. We already go around quoting the trailer ("What do YOU mean, you people?!") at each other all the time. :-D


Also... I love Robert Downey Jr.... Can't wait to see him play this particular role. :drool


Rikky -- I think it'll probably have some sort of redeeming message, but then it'll get scrapped in favor of the comedy. It is Ben Stiller's return to directing since doing Zoolander... and I trust him to be hilarious. :major

 

Yeah, Robert downey jr has always been good, but since getting his act together, he has blossomed

my favorite of his old movies has to be "natural born killers"

but "iron man" was awesome, he was the perfect tony stark
