Trouble Shooting New Computer Will Not Start

I built a I7-3770 computer in Sept 2012, It is a Asus Sabertooth I7-3770 and the USB droped the mouse and keboard. I RMA the board. I bought a new board and installed it with the I7-3770, the computer will not run. It starts for 1 second then quits. I have tried with two different CPU's and two different boards. However I am at a loss why the unit will not power up.

I have been building computers for 8 years and never had these kind of problems.

Config is I7-3770, Sabertooth Z77 lga 1155, EVGA GTX550, G.Skill 2X8 DDR3 non buffered, Seasonic 850.

I ordered all new parts including a new Gigabite Lga 1155, new CPU, new Corsair 850, new G.Skill memory.

Same thing happened. I just cannot figure out why this thing will not start.

Sounds like a configuration problem (internally). The last time that happened to me, it was incorrectly wired header connections.

Of course in your case, I am surprised you didn't test the PSU.

 

Just a random thought here cause I had something weird happen when I built my latest machine. My new computer hated my SSD, after I unplugged it, no problems. I had to hook said drive up as a slave to a working machine and flash upgrade it. I then reinstalled it into the problematic machine and it booted right up. Thought for sure it was the PSU, it wasn't as I tried another brand new one with the same result.

 

Second to last PC I built would not turn on.. come to find out the reset button must of been stuck. When I pulled all the wires except the power button, had only the RAM, CPU and motherboard in play it started, then as I added devices back I found the culprit.
