My verizon wireless card slows (or stops) my clock in the systray. This only happens when the card is active. I have watched the seconds tick by on the clock with everything going except the wireless card and there is no problem. As soon as I connect to the broadband network the clock begins to run slow and somtimes will stop. Moving the mouse seems to make the clock run normally as long as I move the mouse. When I stop the clock stops or slows down again. I have a Gateway laptop with plenty of free space on the HD and plenty of RAM. I have run all of the speeding your computer up threads, while it did improve my performance, it did not fix the clock. Any ideas? Has anyone else had this problem? Verizon, of course, has never heard of this occuring.

That is internesting to say the least. You can try to re-install the verizon software and see if that has any bearing. However, it does seem like a bug in thier software. If re-installing the software for the card does not work. See if you can get an updated version of the software from verizon which might have fixed some known bugs..and believe me thier software is most definitely not bug free.
