trouble with searchforfree

my home page has been set to "searchforfree" and i am not sure how to change it back. i have run the hijackthis program and this is what i ended up with. please let me know what to do next.

After doing ALL of the above if you still have a problem:

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the ZIP file as your backups will not be safely stored.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gifBefore running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Post your log as an ATTACHMENT to your next post. (Do NOT copy/paste the log into your post as it will be removed).

still trouble with search for free

i posted earlier abt search for free hijacking my computer and followed all of the instrustions in the thread sent to me and still cannot get the home page where i need it. also after i switched to the safe mode on the computer the screens appearance has changed and i am not sure how to get it back to norm. i am adding my hijack this scan results.

please let me know what to do next.

Edit by chaslang: Inline log removed. Try changing the filename next time. Why are you posting a second one anyway?

 

Your Internet Explorer version is WAY out of date and represents a major security risk. After we fix your current problems, you must get updated.

Please download HOSTER and then follow the below steps.

• Unzip Hoster to a convenient folder such as C:\Hoster

• Run Hoster.exe, click Restore Original Hosts and then click OK.
• Click the X to exit the program.

After you complete the above, run the following online scans:

TrendMicro Online Scan
Bitdefender online scan
RavAntivirus online scan <-- select Auto Clean then click Scan My PC
TrojanScan online scan

After you have completed the above, online scans reboot and post a fresh HJT log.
