Trouble with Sony CD Complete and XP

    I have been using a SONY CRX160E CD-RW drive for a year or so on Windows ME without any trouble. I had to upgrade my system so I put windows XP on a fresh install. I cannot install the original software program CD complete as it says it is not compatible with NT.
    I have been to Sony's website and downloaded the upgrade for XP, but it will not allow me to install without a previous version installed!!!!
    Sony's tech support only said I should try a manual installation of the software. I have not found any instruction on how to do that.

    Any help would be appreciated in gettin me passed this.
