When using XP's Internet Explorer the PC hangs after clicking 3-4 urls. Now, this only happens when surfing the net using explorer. I've tried searching the net and I find it difficult to pinpoint the cause of the problem.

The OS have been sweeped, online, for viruses and Ad-Aware have been used at several occasions, for sweeps against malware.

I'm thinking this might have something to do with faulty memory, but I don't know of any programs good enough to trust a memory test - thus part of my question becomes: do you know of a good memory testing software?

PS! It's a Fujitsu Siemens based PC - Scaleo.

    HI,

The best mem test is memtest86, you download it and make a bootable floppy, then put the floppy in and restart. A good computer builder uses it before they even install the OS to check the memory.

Make sure to let it run for 3 passes.
