TroubleShooting

I posted about how I tried to download paint.net and use it but then ran into framework issues (because I never used framework) and It never was needed for what I use the computer for (other wise it would tell me I needed it to run this and that). Anyways The reason I tried to download paint.net and use it was because my windows xp normal paint that comes with most computers.. wont open or run, I have went to start - control panel - add/remove - add/remove windows components- and clicked on the box next to the top one where paint is in. But it then says please insert the compact disc labeled windows xp home editiion drive d

The things I got checked in that add/remove of system components are.
Accessories and Ultilies
Internet Explorer
Msn Explorer
Network Services
Outlook Express
Update Root Certificates
Windows Media Player
Windows Messenger
There all at 0.00 MB cept the accessories and ult. which is 18.0 mb

I got windows XP and would like to turn this paint that came with the system back on.. not paint.net

 

Forgot to mention maybe I had what I think was a crappy (fix) to my problem that the computer wouldn't run after tring to clean it up. I thought it was going to be a reinstall, but think it was just a fix to get it running atleast. And I dont got a disc to reinstall.

 

I did that and in the second box I everything was checked including paint and I highlighted it. Underneath just said a brief of what paint does or can do. Modify pictures and etc. I clicked the bottom which was okay or whatever and it closed and went back to 1st window closing the second one.

 

K thanks for the download and help I just didn't know if somehow I could get past the disk needed. Just really need to infest in a disk or new computer But thanks for the help.
