well... I bought this game on my PC... (True Crime: New York City)

I met all the requiremants, but it is still too Laggy...
maybe there's somthing with the frame rate...
I think that, cause it's all slow and laggy...

I have done everything... working with it about 2 days now...

I just hope that someone here can help me...

    Is there any patch?
    Is there any Fixes?
Is there anyone willing to help?

    Please help...

Thank you for reading this and Thank you a lot for sending a helpful reply...

    Try this first:

1)Right click your desktop wallpaper, and select properties. This should open your display settings.

2)Select the settings tab, then click "advanced" button at the bottom

3)In the box that opens, click "troubleshoot". Make sure that your hardware accelerater is set to "Full"

Also, you may want to check to see if you have the latest version of Direct X.

Any drivers you may need would be found at your computer's manufacter's website. What kind of pc do you have?

The third thing you could try, and may be satisfactory, is to check your game options to see if you can lower the graphics settings.

Now, you can try a google search, and see if others have had the same problem, or better yet, call or email the game maker.

    hey sneakyalien

i'm having the exact same problem, i'm trying to browse through the net with google to find solutions

    i have a P4, 3.1 ghz, 1g of ram, ati radeon 9250 256mb

even with that, it's still laggy like crap at 1024x768 , even at 800 x 600
i've checked so many things, also i noticed i can't even seem to find an option menu to lower graphic details, is it just or me or what?

anyways it's getting on my nerves, hope i can find soemthing anything soon

Ill do some research when i get home, i cant look up any info of the game at school (stupid filters), but the basics would be updated video card drivers, latest directx.

i also notice this thread is pretty old lol do u still have the problem?

Could also be a chipset driver on your motherboard, depending on what you have, i know i have to update mine with the latest to get things to work cuz my vid card is a AGP slot...
