I have True Image version 10. I have been doing an occasional full backup of my hard drive to an external drive. Once I do a new, full backup, can I delete previous backups? How do I know which file to delete (each backup results in 3-4 files)? Thanks.

yeas you can, you can leave only the last one.

why each backup result stored in 3-4 files? do you choose the split option while creating the backup task.

Backup schemes can be weird and wonderful - it would be useful for you to search around to understand why and which scheme (1/week, 1/month, 1/day, each 2 hours) would work best for you. Possibly you do not have physical storage space for very many "redundant" backups but if you did keeping old copies can be useful to recover something which might have version changes through time. Eg, accounts are archived each month and at year end one has 12 copies.>>Phil
