    dunno ... rumours rumours!!! the same was said about HT and most Northwoods, if you have engineering sample then possible but if not highly unlikely.

    prescott was 'supposed' to be 64 bit capable to begin with, but any capability it had was rushed along and never amounted to much at its release. It was so abismal in its 64 bit extensions that intel didnt bother marketing it as such.

    the p4 E's might be able to run some 64 bit things, but don't count on them running suffieciently. Only the intel 6xx series, the new EE series, and the upcoming D series have true 'working' 64-bit extensions
